While John Mayer basically gave Jessica Simpson a publicity complex by complimenting her in-the-bed skillz, Jessica’s rumored flame fuglicious Billy Corgan is opening his mouth about Miss Simpson as well. The only difference is that Corgan is not kissing and telling. My big fat hunch is that maybe Billy Bob hasn’t gone in the for the smooch and is in the early stages of impressing Jess (and most importantly big Papa Joe)? So Billy Corgan chatted with Rolling Stone magazine about his relationship with Jessica Simpson and I’m thinking that Jess would be pleased.

What did Billy tell the music magazine? Not a whole lot. Corgan says, “If I go, ‘Oh, we’re just friends,’ then it’s like, ‘Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?,’ It has nothing to do with any of that.”

Yeah, um. So, what is the freakin’ deal here? He adds, “Sometimes people just like being around each other, and good things come out of that. My goal in life is to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It’s really simple.”

So, I’m really curious to know what these two have going on, besides working together on Simpson’s theme song for her TV show, “The Price of Beauty”.

Well we give mad props to Billy for choosing his words carefully.
