The Simpson clan was together in NYC last night to cheer on Ashlee during her Broadway debut in Chicago. Pete Wentz and Jessica Simpson flashed smiles on their way into the threater, where Ashlee took the stage in her black leotard and acccepted roses following the performance. Ashlee joined Pete and a minidress-wearing Jessica at the afterparty, as did the girls' father Joe. Jessica went on Twitter to express how proud she is of Ashlee, while Joe was focused on more personal matters. He opened up at the bash about Jessica's rough year, saying to her would-be boyfriends that, "You could never ask for a more loving woman and honest woman. That's all you got."
