It's been rumored and pretty much excepted as fact that Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz are expecting a child together. But was this just wishful thinking among celebrity baby fans longing for the most beautiful one in history?

Yes, says the actress, who denies Javier got Penelope Cruz pregnant.

The 35-year-old has been dating Bardem for months and has been rumored to be carrying the most genetically perfect celebrity spawn for weeks.

But at Thursday's Toronto Film Festival premiere of her latest film, Broken Embraces, she finally set the record straight ... or at least lied about it.

"I start getting some presents from friends saying, 'Congratulations, you're pregnant.' And I tell them, 'no, I'm not, so return the presents,'" she said.
